About us

The Farm
Tanglewood Farm was once one of many local authority farms in the area built in the 1920s as a means of helping local men into farming after the First World War. Now it is only a fraction of its original size, but we still have three acres, and keep a few sheep, ducks and hens etc. These provide endless fascination for the younger children.

Our Family
We as a family moved into the area at the beginning of spring 2008 from the hills of North Wales where we once kept over 400 breeding ewes, and set about finishing the barns to the standard that you see today. We love the history of the area and the spectacular scenery is something to behold.
